Winter with essie

Over the past year I have become a full-on nail polish addict. You’ll be hard pressed to find me without any on my fingernails, and forget bare toe nails – what does that?? Fortunately this little blog is quite useful when it comes to feeding this addiction and I’m adding to my collection often which makes me a very happy girl!

Recently I was sent the latest collection from essie, one of my very favourite nail brands, and the gorgeous winter palette is a thing of beauty. essie are well known for their amazing colour selection and although I love the traditional “pretty” nail polish colours, I really LOVE the slightly different, unexpected colours more…

And this collection is just that! Take a look…

211 (1024x683)

The gorgeous colours include:
Twin Sweater Set – a deep red
Vested Interest – a muted forest green
Cashmere Bathrobe – charcoal grey with a hint of shimmer
After School Boy Blazer – a very dark navy blue, almost black
For the Twill of It – shimmery grey with multicolours (a bit like petrol oil slick)
The Lace is On – metallic shimmery purple

What a very pretty line up don’t you think? My faves are definitely the Vested Interest and After School Boy Blazer, I think both of these will be super versatile with my winter wardrobe!

Which of these colours are you keen to add to your nail polish collection for winter?

essie retails for between R110 and R130 at Dis-chem, Sorbet and other salons. I was also very pleasantly surprised to discover it is now available at Clicks too!
