A few months back I ran a competition along with Abigail K Photography to win a makeover & photo shoot and finally the day has arrived when I can share a few of the photo’s of the winner’s gorgeous shoot!
Lisa Georgiades was the lucky lady so I asked her to share a bit more about the experience here…
“I arrived at Abigail’s studio on Friday morning and was met with smiling faces, coffee and yummy muffins. The oh-so-talented makeup artist, Kristine from Kruz 4 Make-up was there to make me look beautiful and work her makeover magic.
I had decided on three distinct looks for my shoot: Old Hollywood, Fun and Silly, and a somewhat sexy Glamour look.
So, armed with my outfits and my Pinterest boards, Kristine and Abigail got to work re-creating me into a work of art.
I must admit I was a little (ok a LOT) nervous as several hours in front of the camera with the subject being just me, me , ME the whole time was somewhat intimidating. But let me tell you, working with these professionals made it feel as natural as eating chocolate (something I find naturally easy).
A major bonus was being able to wear one of the fabulous Molteno Creations last minute as my chosen dress for the Hollywood look ended up translating as a little drab on camera. To be honest, it made all the difference. I instantly felt like a star of the silver screen.
Abigail was there every step of the way to make me feel comfortable – guiding me in each detail, angle and pose to bring about the best ‘me’.
Who knew I could look this awesome?!
Thank you to Becoming you and Abigail K Photography for making this possible. It really was a dream come true and the ultimate experience in feeling gorgeous.”
What an amazing opportunity! I’m so thrilled to have played a (small) part in making it all come together for Lisa – these photos are simply stunning and will be an amazing memory for her to show her grandkids one day!! Enjoy Lisa
