Win R800 worth of luxurious linen from Mungo Design

Now there is nothing more luxurious than climbing into a well dressed bed at night. Beautiful, clean, fresh linen is up there with some of the finest things in life!

I’ve recently been updating my bedroom into a “boudoir” with the aid of a lick of paint, some new bedside lamps and a pretty new chandelier which I LOVE… but top of the “must have” list for any beautiful bedroom (or boudoir) is definitely good quality linen. When you think that you spend half your life in bed it really does make a huge difference to your quality of life! Lesser quality bed clothes cannot compare!

Now that you’ve seen the light about luxurious linen, you need to know about Mungo. Based in the beautiful seaside town of Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route of South Africa, Mungo was founded in 1998 by Master Weaver Stuart Holding. This locally run boutique weavery empowers the local community while designing, weaving and making a wide range of homeware products from the highest quality natural fibers including table linens, bedding, throws, apparel and their best selling flat weave towels. Find out more about Mungo’s history here.

Mungo is a unique textile company with the rare ability to create fabrics from the inception of design to the final product. Ensuring all our products are from an ethical and quality beginning.

Mungo have recently launched an online shop called Mungo Retail and are now open for business as it were across the world! Their entire range of homeware products can be viewed and ordered via the website (and delivery anywhere in South Africa is FREE!)

One of my favourites in their collection are the new Abigail and Hannah blankets made from wool and mohair. The detail and care put into these works of art is very special. And they will be great for winter! Other popular items include their “man cloths”as well as their organic cotton baby blankets which are super soft – natural and make the perfect baby shower gift!

After a visit to their weavery in Plett towards the end of last year I am already a huge fan of Mungo’s quality products and am super excited (and a little bit envious) to be able to share this amazing new competition with Becoming you readers!

Mungo are giving one lucky Becoming you reader a R800 gift voucher to spend on any items in the Mungo Retail online shop! To enter all you need to do is complete the steps in the competition software below:
