What I… Yolandi from a Zesty Life

This week I’m interviewing a new lifestyle blogger I recently discovered.. Yolandi from A Zesty Life. She loves to make the everyday things a bit more special – to remind you that life is more than just groceries, nappies & chores! And I for one love that…

Her blog is mostly about beauty & food but from time to time crafty, decor & inspirational posts also appear. Basically expect to find anything that will add some “zest” to life…

How blessed I am – having a wonderful husband, a healthy, adorable little boy & a job that I LOVE! We recently also moved into our first ‘grown up house’. It’s our dream space & we’re totally in love with it.

Life; stylish & inspirational bits – anything from a new magazine, a beautiful home, an inspiring store, an inspiring event or beautiful song; tea; entertaining; hanging out with my girls; my family; shopping, beauty products & being pampered. I’m a total spa junkie. I’ll go for a beauty treatment every single day of my life if I can.

Loads of magazines & recipe books. You will find various copies next to my bed & even in my bathroom. I also love the American lifestyle blogs called abeautifulmess.com & cupofjo.com.

To visit New York. Visiting The Big Apple has been on my bucket list since forever.
A driver. I don’t like driving at all. I find it boring & such a waste of time. So, I’d much rather be sit & work, admire the scenery or take a snooze while someone else drives.

Whatever the occasion asks for. If it’s dressing up time, then I’m over the moon. Since I started to work from home, I look for any excuse to put on those heals & get dressed up. But when it’s mom & Oliver time, then it’s usually skinny jeans or leggings, a top that I don’t feel too sorry for & pumps, although I have to admit that I often find myself at the top of a jungle gym in a dress. Technically I have everything I need, but I can certainly do with a super fast metabolism (so I can still cook & eat as much as I want, but not gain weight). I also really need the ability to go with little sleep, but sadly I love to snooze too much. I often imagine how much more I could get done if only I was able to sleep for only four hours a night.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
