Today in my blogger interview series I’m sharing my space with South African mommy blogger Ulpha from Remarried Mom in the City although she used to blog under the name Single mom in the city.
After 4 years of being divorced, she married her teenage crush after 1 week of dating! Now their blended family consists of Ulpha, her daughter, her husband and his son… which together equals one amazing family!
She works in digital marketing by day and blogs by night. Being married to a travel guide means that together they love exploring their city.
Know – Two things – life is short and you only have one life to live – live with no regrets! Something I discovered when I got divorced 5 years ago and was raising a little girl as a single mom… us women are stronger than we give ourselves credit for. We are true warriors. We are role models to our little girls.
Love – My beautiful daughter, my best friend of a husband, and adventurous son. Not forgetting my close knit friends who have been with me through rough seas and shiny days and understand how my brain works. It really pays when one of your best friends’ is a psychologist and the other one is a fashion addict just like you.
Read – Anything by Lindsey Kelk. I love her books and her writing.
Want – To find more time in the day to spend with my daughter, but also more time in the day to do stuff for myself without having a million things to do. Also every year I say I’ll be focusing more time on my blog, but that’s as far as I get – all words and no action.
Wear – I love fashion – really I do. I really do love experimenting with fashion, colours, textures, prints and patterns. You’re most likely able to find me in a pair of skinny jeans and mules, with either a tee and blazer or white shirt and bold jewellery.
Need – A much needed holiday that involves a few spa treatments and doing very little. My husband and I got married within two days of deciding on that crazy idea After a year of marriage we realised that we didn’t even go on a honeymoon, but instead jumped straight into family life and we’re still juggling it!
Thanks for taking part in this blogger interview series Ulpha.
