What I… Tyler from Polished Tickles

Today in my South African blogger interview series I’m featuring Tyler from Polished Tickles & Beauty – a beauty blog with a focus on nails, nail polish and nail art!

Tyler’s blog is new to me as she was the first blogger who responded to an urgent request for a blog to feature in today’s What I… blogger interview, which means that I’m just “meeting” her for the first time too! So, let’s find out a bit more about her together?!

What I…

Nail polish chips… But that’s ok, you just take it off and try again. The colours are endless so you can always try something new! The same goes with life, sometimes things don’t always go as planned but there are so many options, you can always try something new… Or try again.

Nail polish! Ok not just nail polish, I love soppy romance novels and tea. I love wine and fresh baked bread. I love going to new places and watching how people live their lives in those places. I love that life happens, every day, all around us, continuously. Life is beautiful. I love being a cat lady. And most of all I love the person who has decided to spend his life with me, nail polish fumes & all!

I love reading, getting lost in the pages of a book is one of my favourite feelings. I am a paperback kind of girl. I hoard books, and will even read them multiple times if I loved the story. I also love reading local blogs, I love seeing how other people view our country and what it has to offer. Local is Lekker <3Want

I want to have an entire room in my house one day that is dedicated to my love of Nail Polish. I want to have a big family that lives around me so we can have crazy family lunches and dysfunctional Christmas’s. I want to build my blog, make it completely mine. I want the world to be run by good instead of greed, I want to make a difference even if it’s a small one.

Well I’m no fashionista but I so long to be one. I classify myself as being rather basic in the fashion world. I’m good to go in jeans, a pretty top and pumps. I look at people like Leanne from ArumLilea and think WOW that’s style.

I need to be more organised, I function at my best when surrounded by chaos. I would like to change that. I need to learn new things at all times, knowledge is key and it comes in handy when playing 30 Seconds.

Thanks so much for taking part Tyler – lovely to meet you!! And if you’re a blogger looking for a little bit of exposure and would like to be featured in this series then please do drop me an email: kathryn @ becomingyou.co.za. I always love finding new blogs and sharing them here!

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
