What I… Tracey from Journal of a City Girl

Today’s featured blogger is Tracey from Journal of a City Girl who is a South Africa currently living in Toronto, Canada.

She and her husband, Ryan, embarked on a semi-nomadic life of working, living, travelling and photographing every step of their way around the globe and her blog is a window into life as an expat, restarting in a new city, moving a neurotic cat across the globe and their travel tales along the way.

What I…

Chocolate and a nap can solve anything

The moon, snow, chocolate, my dear husband and our cat – not necessarily in that order

Light and fluffy chick lit novels. I like to escape to stress free worlds with sugar coated love stories.

Current favourites: The Rosie Project, Something Like Happy, There is no light in the Darkness

Obviously I read loads of blogs, travel mostly. The wordsmith wizards from The Everywhereist and Girl Tweets World are among my favourites

Nothing really, I am completely content with the opportunities and love in my life. Although a better chocolate selection in Canada would be a treat, for a first world country it’s abysmal

Anything that is comfortable. I also have an out of control addiction to scarves, some women have a thing for shoes and handbags – I have scarves

More cats

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
