An blog topic that I noticed was lacking in my What I… blogger interviews was food blogs so I am pleased today to be introducing you to one such blogger. Teresea Ulyate blogs over at Cupcakes and CousCous. This mom of one loves to “spread” the foodie love and shares her tried and trusted recipes as well as new and interesting products plus fabulous restaurants and favourite cookbooks!

Know – that life is too short and too precious to waste on things that don’t make you happy. That we each have the power to change our lives through the decisions we make. That gratitude is essential to happiness. That God is in control, and that we should always believe in our dreams! (Oh, and that Moms give the best hugs!)
Love – my family, they are my most precious gift. Chocolate and my KitchenAid mixer are a close 2nd and 3rd though! 😉 Hearing my daughter giggle, feeding my friends and family, lavender, the smell of rain, laughing until my tummy hurts, a glass of wine with friends or relaxing on the couch with my husband after a busy day – it’s the simple things that I love most.
Read – I definitely don’t stick to a specific genre! If you looked at my bedside table right now you would find “The Baby Whisperer”, a food photography guide and a Kindle filled with fiction novels. I also enjoy reading autobiographical books. I absolutely love poring over beautiful food magazines and recipe books, and reading food blogs online.
Want – more time to read everything that I’ve mentioned above! I miss my travelling days and would absolutely love a trip to London and New York. But most of all I want my family to remain happy and healthy.
Wear – most of my time is spent in the kitchen, looking after my daughter or working from home, so I’m fortunate in that I can dress casually most of the time. You will more often than not find me in jeans, a t-shirt and flats – sans jewellery that can (and will) be grabbed by little fingers! Having said that I love to dress up a little and put my heels on if I’m going out in the evening!
Need -Laughter! My rooibos tea in the morning to get me going. To be busy (this is seldom a problem). A little bit of alone time each day to re-energise and very importantly – my diary to keep myself and the family organised!
