Needing no introduction, my blog interviewee today is Terence Mentor from AfroDaddy
This vlogging and blogging superstar makes hilarious content that is highly engaging and very shareable!
As the name suggests, he is dad to two boys, Liam (aka “The Kid”) and Eli (aka “Boy2.0”) who he describes as “exciting, wonderful, lovely, hectic and crazy”
His eldest son is adopted and his younger son isn’t but you’ll have to watch his videos and read the blog to find out how that happened!
Terence himself is “just a guy trying to make his world a little bit better” which is where AfroDaddy comes in.
His blog and YouTube channel is a place for parents, especially dads, to come together and share in the “duality of parenting” and the fact that being a parent can be fantastic, wonderful and beautiful while simultaneously being exhausting, frustrating and awful.

I know that I’m a good a dad…even if I have to be reminded of that fact occasionally. To be honest, it’s the only thing I’m fairly certain that I’m good at.
The right and true answer is “my family”, but besides those nut-cases, I really love making content that connects with people in a real way.
The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, at least once a year since I was 14.
Right now, as I’m writing this…better recording equipment for my podcast! My guilty-pleasure is watching Youtube reviews of microphones and other hardware that I can never afford.
Usually jeans, a plain t-shirt and a hoodie. If you’re really important, I might replace the hoodie with a sports jacket.
Okay, real talk: I honestly feel like I’m in the privileged position to have everything I need. I’m never hungry, I’m almost always comfortable, I can get around when I need to, and I’ve got loving friends and family. Also, I have fast internet at home, so I’m pretty much sorted.
With all that, it feels a bit selfish to say that I need anything else.
