What I… Teniel from Me Becoming Mom

This week I’m featuring new blogger and mama, Teniel, from Me Becoming Mom.

Teniel is a mommy blogger living in Durban with her husband,  daughter Mila and Cocker Spaniel Charlie.

She works full time as a digital media manager for a large corporate and blogs on the side as an outlet to help her  discover the person she has become as a mother.

Read on below to find out more…

What I…

Know – that I am stronger than I think I am.

Love – My family. I am really family orientated and love nothing more than spending weekends with my husband, our dog Charlie and my daughter Mila. They are my soul.

Read – A lot! I am a readaholic and go through a book or two a week. I love paranormal humor like Darynda Jones and Christopher Moore.

Want – To be healthier. I always deprioritise my health, don’t eat well and hardly ever exercise. I really want to change that not only for my sake but my family’s too.

Wear – Jeans and a black leather jacket on most days. I try switch it up with dresses when I have the energy but being a mom means less shaved legs days and more Jean’s haha

Need – To be grounded. I easily get swept up in the overwhelming drama of the world and the emotions around me. So it’s vital for me to be grounded by sitting on the grass, visiting the beach or even lying in a hot bath. It makes all the difference.

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for almost 7 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
