What I….

Know,

When I actually sat down and thought about this, I had to ask myself, what do I actually know? I know that I don’t know everything and I probably never will. I know that I want to be successful in whatever I do and because of my willingness and perseverance I know that I will eventually accomplish everything I’ve set out for myself. I know that life offers you a new lesson to learn from every day and it’s up to you whether you choose to learn from it or not.

Love,

The beach. Summer nights. Taylor Swift. My fury child, Pokkie (aka my princess, my love, baby, fluffy bum) I love how my cat brings so much joy into my life even after a really bad day. I love sunsets and sunrises. I love the man above that is continuously blessing me, showing me grace and favour each and every day. I love Christmas mornings with my family. Lindt chocolate brownies. Bubble tea. Make up

Read,

Being a millennial baby I don’t read many books, I’m quite embarrassed about that though. I prefer reading an ebook on my iPad mostly when I do get a chance to. I do however read a lot of articles from www.lifehack.org and www.thoughtcatalog.com They offer a lot of inspiring and uplifting articles regarding life in itself, productivity, emotional healing and how-to life hacks. Thought Catalog posts a lot of stories that I’d be a bit reluctant to post on my own blog so it’s nice to read stories of people that I can truly relate to. I also read tons of beauty reviews, the beauty world is ever changing and one can never learn enough.

Want,

More so what I (wanted) I’ve always wanted to be married by the age of 25 (I turned 26 the other day and been single for 9 months). Apparently life doesn’t always go the way you wanted it to and I’ve had to learn a great deal of patience and understanding. I want to travel and get over my fear of flying – 2 things that go hand in hand. I also want to sip on a coconut cocktail. On the beach. In the Maldives. This also ties up with me wanting to become a travel blogger, but at this point I cannot share too much so my readers will just need to wait and see.

Wear,

I wear anything that looks cute and mainly something that fits a 1.55m girl like myself. If I could wear tutus everyday I’d probably do that. I’m not the biggest fashionista and I still wear clothes that I got when I was 19 haha. A lot of my wardrobe contains items from Mr P Fashion, Edgars, Legit and YDE

Need,

I need to stop procrastinating. I need to stop finding inspiration to write blog posts at 12am and I need to get more sleep! But mostly, I need to spend more time with my younger brother. We didn’t have the privilege of growing up together so I never had to worry about being a big sister, so that’s one of the things I need to learn. I need to learn how to give myself more credit by seeing the beauty in myself that others see in me.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
