What I… Tamlyn from Painting in Pink

Today we meet Tamlyn, a mom, wife, developer, designer, photographer and blogger who writes over at Painting in Pink.

She started her blog when she became a mom and discovered what it was really like to really live. On her blog she documents dressing for her new body shape, altering her beauty routine to accommodate her ever-changing skin as well as experimenting with new and crazy hairstyles!

What I…

Know

… is that I will never stop learning and I never want to. Your mind has no shelf-life, use it, enlarge it and embrace it.

Love

… is having café dates and going to markets with my husband & daughter.

Florals&Fringe

Read

… Binge by Tyler Oakley. I’ve recently gotten back into books but as I’m a full-time-everything I find it easier to listen to them.

Want

… to empower women. Being an example of an empowered woman will give other women the confidence to do the same.

Wear

… a combination of grey, white and black.

I’m a walking Monochrome-Monday-LookBook but recently I’ve been drawn to lace, frills and fringe.

I’m a child of the 80s but my heart lies deep inside the festival life and barefoot ways of the 70s.

Burgundy&Brick

Need

… to STOP and appreciate it all! My mistakes, accomplishments, trials and tribulations and most of all, victories!

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
