This week I’m interviewing a fairly new blogger on the scene, Tamara Metrowich blogs under her own name all about fashion, beauty and her life in Cape Town. Read on to find out more about this up-and-coming blogger…
I know without a shadow of a doubt that there is greatness in each and every one of us. I know that love and gratitude are paramount to connecting with that greatness.
I know that there is beauty in everything – all we need to do is change our perspective to recognise it.
I know that life can get busy but honouring yourself and your inner voice is something that should not be ignored.
And I know that no matter what today looks like, the opportunity that tomorrow brings is worth getting excited about.
This list could get long …
I love spending quality time with those near and dear to my heart. I love being in the presence of people who are passionate about life, their energy is simply electric.
I love that I’m rediscovering the things that I am passionate about and that it makes me feel like I have a new lease on life.
I love that I finally took the leap and started a blog that my readers find value in
I love that I have the opportunity to be on radio and connect with listeners.
I love that the possibilities are endless and that we are crafting our future every day.
I love that I have been blessed to connect with some amazing people.
I love that I can use my style to express myself.
I could go on and on, but I think I’ll spare you
I like to read books that motivate and put me in the right head space. Most recently, Dr Wayne Dyer, Iyanla Vanzant and Joyce Meyers are at the top of my list. I think it’s so important to continuously challenge yourself, your ideas about the world and connect to what your inner truth is.
I want to continue learning, growing and living life to the fullest. My blogging journey is one of the platforms that has certainly allowed me to do that. Every day I discover something new, connect with new and interesting people and am inspired by what my fellow bloggers are getting up to.
After being invited to judge a fashion show recently I was amazed by our home-grown talent and really want to support our local designers. I’m therefore incorporating more proudly SA clothing in my collection.
For the most part I wear what I feel comfortable in. Every time I select an outfit it’s an opportunity to express myself, so I try not to limit myself to a particular brand.
It’s important for me to surround myself with loving, caring people who challenge me to be the best that I can be. Another must for me is quiet time. There’s nothing like spending some downtime with yourself to help clear the mind clutter, prioritise and focus on what is important.
