Susann from Goddess blogs about her infertility journey, travel, life and everything in-between.
She is mom to one loud miniature human and a couple of crazy felines and wife to an Irishman that doesn’t want to move back home because the sunshine rocks so much at the tip of Africa.
Read on to find out more about her here…
Life never goes according to plan if you are doing it right. I know that corny quotes like “To travel is to live” are true.
…obviously I love my family and my black cats. My life would be quite empty without these special people.
Things I love… my cameras! I recently added an Instax Mini 8 and it took me right back to my childhood; Jewellery, sunglasses and handbags; Lipgloss and not lipstick; I have an obsession with Parker pens for some odd reason; Drinks that come in a coconut; Did I mention cats?
I read whatever comes my way, but if you hand me a Deon Meyer book nothing else matters. I have my own small library that is 70% unread and it just keeps on growing.
One day I want to be able to say that I lived my life well, seen the world, was loved and contributed in some small way.
I want to add as many passport stamps, take beautiful pictures, see many sights and create memories with people I meet along the way.
When people read my blog, and they are going through their own infertility journey, I just want them to know that they are not alone. There are other people like them out there that they can reach out to.
I am a “plaasmeisie” from the north, living in big bad Jozi – and I wear a lot of surf labels… If I don’t dream of being by the beach, I wear something in black just to show that I mean business.
Explore Cuba and Morocco. I need to go there even if I have to drag my husband that never ever wants to go to another 3rd world country ever again (as he lightly puts it).
To live by the sea, it doesn’t matter which country, it just matters that the water is warm.
