This week I’m thrilled to be featuring yet another fabulous travel blogger, one of the very best, Sarah Duff of Duff’s Suitcase.
A well-known and highly regarded travel writer and photographer who previously worked for Getaway magazine, Sarah is currently on a year-long trip through North and South America and is blogging all about it on her site….
All the articles are well worth a read, just be prepared for some serious wanderlust and unadulterated travel envy!
Read on to find out more about Sarah…
Know, Traveling in the right way makes you a better person.
Love, Being close to nature, whether that’s on top of a dune in Namibia or in the rainforest in Bolivia.
Read, I read a lot – everything from psychology and history books to short stories and the classics. I try to read books about destinations I’m traveling in, and any good travel writing about anywhere. Two books I enjoyed recently were Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer and Wild by Cheryl Strayed – similar titles for books about the same thing – getting into the wilderness.
Want, I am content living a possession-free life on the road, so there’s honestly nothing that I want!
Wear, I’ve been traveling for nearly 10 months now and I only have a few clothes in a small backpack so I wear pretty much the same things (jeans, hiking pants, denim cutoffs, one dress and some tank tops and t shirts) all the time!
Need, Traveling for a long time has made me realise that I don’t need many things to be happy. I can’t think of anything I need right now…
Thanks so much for taking part in this series Sarah. Love your work!
