I discovered a beautiful blog for those who are exploring more of the Christian faith recently. Written by Sherayne George, Pebblecrowns is about her journey with Jesus which she shares with her husband Andre, daughter, Emma, and our firecracker son, Noah.
She is passionate about teaching, writing, singing, painting – anything creative.
She started her blog in 2016 as a way to worship Jesus with her writing while writing about her real struggles and triumphs and she believes that God laid it on her heart for it to be a love letter to His people.

I know that life is unpredictable yet beautiful. Oftentimes we miss the real moments worth holding onto because of the turmoil we face. The Covid-19 pandemic has taught me what matters most. I know that life is for the living not just surviving. How we choose to navigate this space is the only control we really have: What will you choose to do with the time gifted to you?
I love Jesus. He is my Lord and Saviour. I love my best friend and husband, Andre and our two beautiful children Emma and Noah. God placed a creativity within me which I love to express for His glory. I love to write, to paint and to make. I love being a Mom and wife. I love to teach children. I love unicorns. Oh, and chocolate. Chocolate is one of the great loves of my life.
I love to read. Falling into the pages of a new world is a necessity in this crazy world of ours. It’s not so much that I have favourite authors or genres, it’s really the act of consuming another persons words. I have read Jerry B. Jenkins, Francine Rivers, J.R.R. Tolkien, Wilbur Smith, Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Wendy Alec. Just to name a few. If I were to name them all this would become a blog on the books I love. A bit of an eclectic taste I know.
My all time favourite books, books that I will re-read and have read tons of times remain The thirteenth tale by Diane Setterfield and Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers.
What I really want is for everyone to experience the love of God. To know the joy that comes from living in His presence. There really is nothing like having a relationship with Jesus. I want to live in such a way that when I leave this earth I will be remembered for my love of others. I want to leave a legacy of love. I want my children to know they are masterpieces created for a purpose. I want them to reach for their dreams and live life deeply and passionately. I want my husband to know that he changed my life. Also, chocolate. I want chocolate. haha
I teach children with special needs so most of my days are spent on my feet so I opt for comfort over fashion. I love quirky shoes and my favourite has to be my mismatched unicorn shoes from chocolaticas. I also love to wear pretty dresses that make me feel feminine.
I don’t need much in the way of materialistic items. What I can not live without is my family and my bible. I need to be able to express myself in creative ways. I need worship. I love to sing and share my heart with God in this way. Mostly I need Jesus!
