I recently stumbled across Nikki Carloni‘s self-titled blog and knew I had to feature her here….
She is personal stylist by profession but also dabbles in interior decorating alongside her styling and loves to inspire her blog readers by posting about beautiful items and sharing styling tips both for your wardrobe and home.
Having returned from living in London for 11 years in February this year, Nikki now shares her home in East London with her husband and 2 little boys. Read on to find out more about Nikki…
Know – life is short, live each day to the full (it’s a cliche for a reason). The devil is in the detail.
Love – my family (so very much, this includes our dogs too), good friends, my home, our family beach cottage, coffee, the smell of coffee, cafe’s, sneakers, Ormonde Jayne candles, Eucalyptus, Agave plants, Champagne, baskets, walking on the beach, running, good manners, crisp white good quality bed linen, markets, browsing, travelling, the smell of suncream… you’ve probably heard enough 😉
Read – I’ve been trying to finish The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton for the last 7 months, Im probably half way. Moving country, having two small children, two puppies and a husband 😉 doesn’t allow for much reading time. I also read Raising Boys on and off, its always next to my bed as well as tons of Glossy Mags of which Porter is probably my favourite.
Want – happiness for my children. To feel enriched and satisfied with how I led my life when Im old with absolutely no regrets. Hopefully the privilege to be able to visit and explore many more countries in my lifetime. Just to be cheeky I also wouldn’t mind a pair of Gucci loafers, Golden Goose Deluxe Sneakers and an endless supply of Eve Lom face cleanser.
Wear – a whole lot of jeans, flat shoes, sneakers, stripes, military green, cross body bags, a lot of leopard print (mainly in the way of shoes, belts or bags), sometimes sequins, when I get the chance, and every day and always my interlocking rings necklace and wedding band.
Need – is to get healthier, exercise more and start yoga again. Learn to listen AND digest before I speak. A decent radio station to listen to (or Spotify to come to SA, there’s probably more chance of that happening first).
