This week we’re getting to know Natalie – a travel blogger who writes over at Navigating the Atlas
When not travelling or writing up a storm, Natalie loves cooking and baking. She adores her 4 dogs and very lazy kitty.
On her travels she loves to collect flags and postcards (with over 700 postcards from 120 countries around the world) and she admits to an embarrassingly awesome collection of teddies bears from around the globe….
What I…
know:
Never stop dreaming, and never stop working toward that dream. If there is anything that keeps me going, its that I always have some sort of dream that I want to accomplish, and I never give up until I have achieved. Dreams is what keeps up alive.
love:
My husband, my family and my pets. Nothing comes above those three items. When I have those people by my side, I can conquer the world. Oh, and I’m also a coffee and chocaholic! I am also an appreciator of good wine. Being a travel blogger, I think its also obvious, I LOVE TRAVEL!
read:
Books that inspire travel, but mostly, books that touch a part in my heart that no other medium can. Those books that jerk emotion and get the mind and heart working together in nirvana. I also love to read others stories, and how they found their path in life. There is something so calming and inspiring about success stories about those who have changed their lives around.
want:
I want to find myself one day standing proudly in front of my very own bakery. Baking has always been something I have loved, and to be able to open a place for people to meet and find comfort in, while enjoying some of the best pastries and coffee in town, that would be the dream.
wear:
I love my scarves. The bigger the better. Having a tinge of French blood, I think its something I’m naturally drawn to. I also love my pale jeans, and leather jackets. A huge converse and takkies (South African slang for sneakers) fan, I love to pair it up with the above.
need:
To finally stick to my diet! I am a huge fitness fan and you can always find me at the gym working up a sweat, but being a coffee and chocolate addict, that totally works against my goals! I need to learn a little bit of self control, but I always say, life would be boring without a little chocolate and coffee spice!
