What I… Nadia from Cupcake Couture

Today I am interviewing the incredibly inspiring, Nadia from Cupcake Couture. Nadia is passionate about all things vintage and creates bespoke corsages, badges and accessories for wedding parties and as quirky gifts. If you need to be inspired to be more creative then Cupcake Couture is your place! Here Nadia shares her answers to my questions…

What I…

Durban is entering a surge in creative momentum! Jump on…

My husband! Being creative and helping people through my consulting work, Durban, loved ones, sleeping, delicious food and daydreaming.

Lots of blogs and magazines! I also read books that my high school English teacher would be horrified by! Katie Fforde mostly for the predictable happy endings and British countryside settings (don’t judge me).

Clockwise from top: Nadia, macaroons from Daniela’s, her husband – Daniel, a Cupcake Couture brooch, Frankie magazine

More people to have integrity…I would pick this over a pair of Chanel pumps or an around the world trip or even a front row seat at Paris Fashion Week.

Mostly vintage items punctuated by good solid wardrobe staples.

Love and good food.

Thanks Nadia for featuring in my “What I…” blogger interview series – you certainly are an inspiration to me to add a bit more creativity to my life!

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
