What I… Meira from Trashcan Rebellion

My What I.. blogger interview series has been running for almost as long as this blog!

Initially it featured a blogger every week but I’ve recently started featuring one every second week… could it be that I’ve finally reached the end of the very long list of South African bloggers to feature?

This week it’s the turn of Meira from Trashcan Rebellion. She is a twenty-something lifestyle blogger and student of life (and politics, philosophy and economics!) She describes her love life as “dating fashion and married to style.” Love!

Take it away Meira…

What I…

Know:

Always go with your gut. It’s right 99.999% of the time.

Love:

First and foremost, my family. They are truly the biggest blessings in my life. Besides the lovey-dovey stuff, I love challenging myself, traveling, meeting new people and am a total sucker for nature, adventure and exploring. And clothes of course! I am a fashion blogger at the end of the day.

Read:

Everything and anything! I have been a passionate reader ever since I was little. As I have grown, so too has the diversity of what I read. I read anything from fiction, history and love stories to crime novels, autobiographies and anything by Lucinda Riley. I am currently reading a book called Sapiens which follows the evolution of humanity from 7 different species of humans into the one that we have today. It’s fascinating!

Want:

For my existence to have made some kind of impact in the world that couldn’t have been possible without me being born. And to hopefully turn my blog/online portal into an all-inclusive brand.

Wear:

Anything that makes me feel like a total BOSS. For me, getting dressed is a celebration of life where clothes have the power to translate my emotions into conversations. The clothes I choose to wear make me feel empowered, confident and are a representation of my personality.

Need:

My family. Everything else in my life is a bonus.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for almost 6 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
