What I… Kate Els from indiKate

A few weeks ago I came across an awesome travel blog.
Indikate.net is new to me but it is written by an established travel writer, Kate Els.

IndiKate.net covers a range of topics from travel to running, eating out and great wines. I love the variety of travel posts she writes, both local and international destinations, and her gorgeous colourful photographs! I definitely think this travel blogger is going places…

What I…

Know: Experiences are everything. I live my life to look back on it as something that was actively created to be amazing. I don’t let bad vibes get me down, and I know that I won’t have regrets.

Love: My friends, family and especially my boyfriend. Their support, love and kindness means the world, their criticism and reality cheques mean even more for a dreamer like me. The mix of those keep me grounded and just the right amount of cautious.

Read: Anything that’s a little scary. I adore South African fiction and my favourite author is Lauren Beukes, her talent never ceases to astonish. I also read tons of travel blogs, part research and part inspiration, to in turn make my own posts better.

Want: Nothing, I feel like I already have it all. Hard to believe right? But I draw a blank whenever I’m asked this question!

Wear: Jeans and converse are my basic uniform. Heels worry me, but I’ll make an effort once a month with them. And messenger bags!

Need: To see the world. Wanderlust only grows with travel and my desire to share all of my experiences just seems to increase every time I land back home.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
