What I… Ilona from Ilonique

This week I’m sharing my space with Ilona from Ilonique blog. She is a beauty blogger who describes herself as not a beauty guru or a makeup artist but as “an average mom/career women looking for that product that is going to change my world!”

She loves trying out beauty products that are affordable and easily accessible in South Africa and writing honest reviews based on her experience.

Ilona describes herself as 44, married with two beautiful boys and three four-legged girls!

Read on to find out more about her…

What I…

That you only get one chance to make a first impression
Always be kind to strangers and respect other people feelings you do not know what they are dealing with
I am stronger than I think
The knowledge and work ethic I have instilled in my boys can never be taken from them

Passionate love for my husband and soul mate of 26 years
My unconditional love for my two amazing boys
An aching love for my parents who are no longer with me
Love for my 3 girls who have me wrapped around their little paws…..soon to not be so little.
Love for my group of special friends
Love is the thing that makes me overcome obstacles and that has allowed me to find strength.
Love is the driver of great stories in my life and one of even greater friendship

I love reading lifestyle and beauty blogs, but I also love reading novels
I am currently reading Without a Trace by Lesley Pearse

I want to spend more time with my family and friends and focus on spending more time blogging

Mainly pants with soft feminine tops. I however also love wearing jeans and are fortunate to be able to wear this to work when I don’t have client meetings.

I need more courage, self love and the ability to let go
I need to learn to say no and not feel guilty
I need a long holiday or a few days at a nice day spa

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
