What I… Fathima from Happiness is…

Today I’m sharing my space with fabulous Fathima from Happiness is… She is a talented illustrator and graphic designer who loves to share things that inspire her and make her happy! She is a SERIOUS cat person and blogs from Durban…

What I….

Life is short. If you’re not happy, do something to change it. Surround yourself with people who are good for you and help you become who you want to be, get rid of those that bring you down. Don’t depend on others for your happiness, they won’t always be there for you. Thoughts are powerful – make sure yours are always on track (currently working on this one!).

My cats, all animals, reading, old books, food, the internet, nature and being outdoors (but under big shady trees, not in the sun), vintage and second hand stuff (a.k.a other people’s junk), gym, meeting new people, that moment when you meet someone new and you just click, winter, unusual coffee shops, the sea, rain, and quiet time alone.

At the moment mainly classics since I’m collecting second hand classics, so I read each one I get. Apart from that I don’t read any specific genre, different things appeal to me at different times. Guilty of judging books by covers.

To travel, desperately.
Contentment and happiness.

What I’m comfortable in. I like dresses and vintage clothing, but I most often adopt more of a jeans, tee and sneaker look because that’s what I’m most comfortable in, and it’s easier to be confident and happy when you feel comfortable.

More cats! Just joking 😛
To overcome procrastination – a common enough problem, but one I am really trying to beat.
To get more organised.
To just DO more.

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
