Today I’m interviewing Zimkhitha Andisiwe Ngaleka who blogs over at Authentic Mama
Now in her mid-twenties she is a teacher, coffee addict, single mom to a dramatic daughter and a lover of Jesus.
Her blog is about her aspiration to to live an authentic life in this sometimes inauthentic world.
What I…
Know
What I know is that I am Enough. As a woman we are so often made to feel like we are not enough, not good enough, not beautiful enough, not strong enough, not suitable for this and that. Life has taught me that I am enough and very much capable to be and do anything I set my heart to.
Love
Life, Coffee, People. Most of all, I love being a mother. As challenging as it has been for me as a single mom, motherhood has been the best journey in my life. I have learnt to love and be loved on a deeper level than I have ever experienced. I would not trade motherhood (and my daughter) for the world.
Read
I love to read (when I actually get the time) Faith, Romance, Motivational and General Life Experience books. I’m currently reading The Zahir by Paulo Coelho and I’m loving it.
Want
I want to live an authentic meaningful life. I want to leave this world knowing that I lived my best life, loved wholeheartedly and made a difference. Knowing that I contributed in making this world a better place. This is most likely why the teaching profession chose me.
Wear
Haha. I’m honestly no fashionista. If it looks decent and comfortable , I will wear it. I have however noticed a lot of floral in my wardrobe.
Need
I need God. I am nothing without Him in my life and every day I realise I need Him more and more each day.
Andi a joyful ❤️ heart to keep as a friend.Love from your Kenyan friend.
