When you read this I will be enjoying a short break up the West Coast of South Africa at a favourite holiday spot where we go to chill, unwind, take long beach walks, collect shells, enjoy sundowners, watch the most amazing sunsets over the sea, curl up on the couch, read, sleep, crayfish and braai – lots!
I am so lucky to have easy access to such a special place and I love building family memories there. We always love our time there and find we are packing up again far too quickly. Each time we leave we promise to return soon, but often life gets in the way and it’s months before we have a free weekend.
I’m very excited we’ve managed to book off a few days this time and really looking forward to a good break from the pressures of life. In the mean time I thought I’d share some pics of a beautiful beach house located on the West Coast not too far from where we will be staying.
Love everything about this neutral, relaxed space….
You might be pleased to know that you can stay in this stunning beach front home. Casa Sanchia is situated in Dwarskersbos, 158 km from Cape Town along the R27 West Coast Road and borders the Rocherpan Nature Reserve.
