Weekend Wanderings – The West Coast

Over the weekend we were lucky enough to spend 2 days enjoying a last minute getaway on the West Coast. We love retreating to this beautiful beach and are lucky enough to have access to it fairly often – it’s just that with our busy social schedules, rugby matches, church commitments and kids birthday parties we don’t often have a free weekend…

So, when one appeared miraculously on the calendar I knew just how to fill it – with nothing of course! Yes, 2 blissful days of doing nothing but chill out and relax was JUST what we all needed. And the magic of the West Coast is that 2 days actually feels even longer than it is.

After our much needed break we can now face the week with a whole lot more energy – and definitely need to book our next weekend away here very soon. Once every 6 months is not enough!!

She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
