Weekend Wanderings – Cherry Picking at Klondyke

These pics are from a Weekend Wander we went on a few years back but one which I am hoping to repeat soon seeing as the 2011 Cherry Picking season at Klondyke Farm in Ceres has recently opened! We really enjoyed our day picking cherries in the orchard and then enjoying the “fruits” of our labour while picnicking under the trees…. We did pick a scorching public holiday last time so I think this year we will try to go during the week to avoid the masses…. For more info click here.

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!

  1. Nothing like eating the still warm cherries – YUM. It’s a bit of a drive but so worth it – would like to go before Christmas so we have some to decorate the trifle!
