This pretty place is the home Australian home of South African illustrator Paula Mills and her family. This vintage inspired home is inline with the shabby chic style I love and when I found this series of photos of this beautiful space I had to share them with you.
I adore Paula’s creative workspace – The wall filled with beautiful images, colours and designs is so very inspiring! She illustrates and blogs under for Sweet William the company she runs with her sister, Shelley. She sells her unique illustrations via the Sweet William Etsy shop.

From the pictures it’s hard to believe that the family moved into this home, located in Warrandyte, a suburb of Melbourne, less than a year ago – it looks so “lived in”! I love the character of the older house filled with fascinating finds and treasures from their international travels. Each item of furniture has a story behind it and the pretty knick knacks have all been well-loved by many throughout the years.

The colours and textures of this home are perfect and I love all the vintage touches such as the old suitcases and quaint quilts. It looks like a lovely comfortable space to live in – don’t you think??
