At a recent event I attended I discovered Vince Camuto, an amazing shoe brand that up until now I had no idea about, but now it is no 1 on my covet list!!
To be honest when I first saw the shoes they were no different from any others you might see on the shelves, BUT once I tried on a pair of sexy stilettos I realised that these are no ordinary shoes! They are THE shoes.
As a ballet pumps and slip slops kinda gal I only own a few pairs of heels, and generally only wear one: my trusty black patent heels. The main reason why I don’t find myself choosing high heels more often (although my daughter would LOVE me too) is that I just can’t walk for longer than an hour or so. My toes, feet, calves, knees all start to ache with pain and eventually I am barely upright…
But these shoes from Vince Camuto are different. OK granted I haven’t spent a day in them but just wearing them for an hour or so at the shop launch was enough.
So who is Vince Camuto?
Besides the designs being really beautiful, trendy and seriously sexy what makes these awesome is that they have been designed to somehow make your foot put all it’s weight on your heel as opposed to the ball of your foot…. and it makes the whole high heel wearing experience so much better. Pleasurable in fact!
Since trying on this pair I’ve had the photo stuck on my fridge waiting for the day when I have R1500 to spend on shoes… I might be waiting a while! But if you do have some spare cash or are in the market for a new pair of heels I highly recommend you give these a try. For the price they are in fact really worthwhile as you’ll still be wearing them years from now!
Vince Camuto empowers the modern woman with confidence in her sense of style.
Anyway here are a few of their shoes from the upcoming A/W 2015 collection….
Plus they also have some amazing bags!
Vince Camuto is exclusively available at the flagship store in Cavendish Square, as well at selected Edgars stores. For more info visit the Edgars website here.
