My photo diary of a day in the Cinque Terre of Italy

I visited the Cinque Terre in 2009… two years before this blog existed. Sadly that means I don’t have much information on the destination in my own post as I didn’t visit the area with writing about it in mind, but I have found this list of Things to do in the Cinque Terre very useful as well as this Hiking Guide to the Cinque Terre which has certainly made me want to visit the area again soon! I think you might find both of these articles helpful when planning your own visit to the area.

My visit to the Cinque Terre was only one day but the good news is that one day in the Cinque Terre can be sufficient if you plan it properly!

That being said I can’t wait to return and explore at a slightly slower pace (and with less nausea – I was 3 months pregnant during my visit and let’s just say that the ferry wasn’t my favourite memory!)

Keen to “taste” Italy on your travels? Be sure to try these Italian treats during your trip!

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
