Style ideas for moms

I am no great fashion fundi but recently I have tried to up my game a bit in the style stakes. I have been looking for ideas which would suit my life as a mom. Once you have a baby the first few months is taken up with caring for that little person and actually putting on clean clothes that match by noon is an achievement…. after a few months you realise that you will probably never wear half your wardrobe again due to breastfeeding and bra size complications, widening hips, a few extra cm’s you can’t shake and some items that just don’t suit your new role as someone’s mother!

I am thankfully past the feeding stage but still not quite the shape I once was, so I need a bit of a wardrobe overhaul. The new look needs to be stylish, affordable, chic, easy and practical. Also it needs to suit a variety of venues too – such as home, shops, moms groups, school pick up and work. Jeans are my number one “go to” item as I think they are for moms everywhere – a uniform of sorts… So with that in mind here are a few great ideas to update your “mom uniform“.

Ok I better go and get out of my pajamas 😉

She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
