This week I’m pleased to be interviewing one of my fellow Mumspiration bloggers – Shahnaz Cola-Wrensch from Shahnaz Loves Beauty. As the title of her blog suggests Shahnaz is a beauty blogger and as her “real life” job is one of a makeup artist she has loads of experience and insights into the beauty industry! Shahnaz, a mom of 2, is originally from London and has been living in Cape Town after meeting and marrying a South African man. She got into beauty while pregnant with her first child and after training in make up at the Jemma Kidd Make Up School in London has now worked on beauty shoots for many of the top magazines and brands in South Africa. Read on to find out more about this talented lady…
That I love my husband with all my heart and that I couldn’t have been able to achieve where I am today without his love and support.
That what you put into life you get back.
Life is all about creating opportunities and running with it no matter what the risk.
My beautiful family my children are my everything and when I come home from work they run into my arms and hug and kiss me like I am the best thing in the world.
Being a make up artist I am in my happy place when I am painting faces.
My sister she has been my best friend for as long as I can remember.
My mum as she has been my number one supporter and my dad has encouraged me and supported me no matter what.
My mates they are so important in my life.
Music as what’s the point living if there is no music in it.
I love reading magazines and chilling by the pool or on my sofa my favourites are Company, Instyle UK, Elle UK, Vogue UK and the list goes on.
Books I love all sorts of books from thrillers to romance. I am currently reading a book by Sylvia Day.
The Hermes Birkin bag I have been dreaming of it for a long time.
To be successful in my work and for my sister and I’s jewellery business to do well.
To take a 2 week holiday some where tropical with my husband!
Not sure if I have a name for my style.
I love wearing skinny jeans when I go out with a pretty top so obviously have loads of tops.
I also love wearing dresses with wedges during the day when I am not on a shoot as growing up in London fashion was always so important so I love dressing up.
If I am going to a really nice restaurant then a dress and heels for sure.
The only time I am really casual is when I am at home relaxing.
Truly I don’t need anything in my life apart from being able to have quality time with family and friends.
