Seaside Reverie with Maaji at Madison Boutique

A few weeks back I popped into Madison Boutique in Constantia Courtyard to get a sneak peek at a new range of Columbian swimwear called Maaji that they have recently started stocking. The launch was for the summer collection called Seaside Reverie and it certainly was just that – a riot of pattern, colour and fun!

Sister and founders of the brand – Manuela and Amalia Sierra were on hand to tell us more about the inspiration behind this magical range and to share with us some of their favourite bold and beautiful designs.

Maaji’s reversible swimwear line is available in a variety of bright coloured patterns and flattering styles. Also available are an assortment of Maaji beach accessories such as cover ups, boardshorts, bags and sneakers. They also have a collection of nailpolish in Maaji-inspired colours by TOY, a Columbian nail polish brand.

Here are a few pics of the pretty reversible designs – love all the quirky details and cute illustrations included in the prints such as tea pots, cats and anchors!

I’m sure you’ll agree that these bikinis and full pieces are very covetable and a must have for those Mauritius jaunts or Med yacht trips when a R1500 – R2000 bikini is required!

Maaji Swimwear is stocked at Madison Boutique, Constantia Courtyard, Constantia Village. Tel: 021 794 4447.

P.S. My daughter accompanied me to her first very launch as she was still on holiday – I think from the pictures you will see that she loved every minute – from the manis to the snacks to the product! Future blogger in the making? Haha

She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
