Spa Review: Taking time out at Sanctuary Signature Spa, V&A Waterfront

Amidst the craziness of year end I totally forgot to write up a review about my experience at the lovely little secret spot located in a quite corner of the V&A Waterfront… Sanctuary Signature Spa!

Nestled in between the Queen Victoria Hotel and Dock House up above the busy hub of the V&A Waterfront, this little spa is the perfect place to indulge in some profound relaxation and connect with your body, mind and soul!

From the moment I arrived I was transported into a world of indulgence and luxury, peace & tranquillity. It was so quite and private that I felt like I was the only guest there!

I was invited to experience the Mamma Africa treatment – one of their signatures – and once I read up about what the treatment includes I confirmed immediately!!

I mean who turns this down??

A sauna
1 hour full body massage with hot stones
Hot stone foot massage
Head massage

After I arrived and enjoyed a welcome drink I was escorted to the changing area and shown my locker and towel. Then I was instructed to have a shower, followed by 20 mins in the sauna to flush my body of toxins and then another shower before heading to the treatment room for a heavenly hot stone massage for a whole hour!

It was deliciously self-indulgent to be enjoying this type of personal pampering the day before schools broke up and I relished every minute. Pure indulgence!!
