Unfortunately I didn’t keep the menu so I’m unable to tell you what gastronomic brilliance we enjoyed but what I can say is that this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had…
Not only does it have an incredible location with views over the vineyards and mountains of Stellenbosch, Chef Owner Bertus Basson has ensured that the restaurant regularly places top ten in the Eat Out Awards and it has also been awarded three stars in the Rossouws Restaurant Guide for five years running.
The food was an experience all of it’s own…
We tried the 6 course tasting menu and each dish was perfectly presented with unusual flavour combinations and the perfect balance of textures. Let’s just say I’m still dreaming about the creamy ravioli dish!

This is a great restaurant for those looking to enjoy a memorable meal for a special occasion or those wanting to treat themselves to some of the best food in South Africa! I’ll certainly be back!
