Princess Charlene of Monaco

In about 10 days there will be a new princess on the scene – one with a South African connection nogal! Charlene Wittstock of Pretoria will marry Prince Albert of Monaco on 1 July 2011 in a civil ceremony and then on 2 July there will be a religious ceremony. Looks like 2011 is the year of royal weddings and I’m looking forward to seeing all the glamour – Monaco is not a nation short of that!

Vogue recently interviewed the princess in waiting about her upcoming wedding, how she met her prince and her thoughts on fashion including her ideas on hosting a Monaco Fashion Week in the future. Read the article here on the Vogue website

Here is one of the shots by Patrick Demarchelier… not a bad body!!! (but then again she is a former South African Olympic swimmer)

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
