Last week I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Poetry Autumn/Winter 2016 collection preview event.
It was held in the most beautiful, light, bright, white space at the top of a building in the CBD of Cape Town – with a view of Table Mountain and plenty of natural light. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this beautiful collection of fashion, accessories, decor and homeware…
The collection is all about texture – luxurious fabrics such as silk and cashmere, pretty prints and watercolour colours. Scattered amongst the collection are splashes of richer hues that express the mood of the season.
Poetry’s story is one of modern-day classics where tailored and clean meet warmth and comfort.
I loved their array of versatile jackets and coats – from reversible puffers, to genuine butter soft leathers, to light-weight trenches and practical parkas, there really is a jacket to suit every need for every day!
The new collection of homeware, as well as bath and body products, have been hand-picked for their beauty, simplicity and elegance and you can see this in the organic shapes and colours of the gorgeous serving dishes from which we enjoyed a most delicious spread…
Whether you’re shopping for an item of clothing, a pair of shoes or a beautiful gift for someone special Poetry really is a great destination to discover and you’ll be guaranteed that each piece has a story to tell…
I’ll take one of each please 😉

Thanks so much Kendra. It really wasn’t very hard to make the photos look amazing as the event was so beautifully styled!
