O•Mega Body Oil by Mama Mio

I recently started using the O•Mega Body Oil by Mama Mio and thought I would share my thoughts on this product with you today. I am a huge fan of mama mio products and love their “fit skin for life” motto and especially their more natural approach* to skin care so I’m always keen to get my hands on another of their products.

I’ve not usually been a body oil user and have always rather opted for creams to moisturize, but I was interested to give this a try. First up, one of my favourite aspects of the Mama Mio range is the AMAZING Gravida fragrance which is a blend of the most divine smelling citrus and white flower aromatherapy oils I have ever smelt. This body oil doesn’t disappoint in that department…

Another lovely element of the body oil is that it is very light and sinks into your skin immediately with no sticky residue. An un-oily oil – amazing! After the first use my skin felt super soft, smooth and nourished. The body oil is packed with omega oils so doesn’t just mask dry skin it actually works to prevent it over time. Ingredients include Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Argan and Safflower Seed Oils with Vitamin E and each oil has been chosen for it’s concentration of Omega 3, 6 & 9 to give your skin the superfood it needs! These oils also have wonderful healing properties and are great at improving the skin’s elasticity, strength and to help maintain a youthful appearance.

This product is a real treat for dry, scaly winter skin! An extra bonus is that your skin is left with a lovely healthy glow, so is perfect for those areas exposed to the world such as your arms, decolletage and esp those lower “lizard” legs!

How to use

Using a body oil can take a bit of getting used to.
You need to rub a splash between your hands and massage all over your body – it absorbs almost immediately.
Pay special attention to any ‘wobbly’ or ‘dimply’ bits as it will help firm up skin tone.
Works best when applied to shower-damp skin to lock in the moisture and spread more easily.
Use Body Buff once a week and O•Mega Body Oil every day and feel a difference in your skin.

I’ve also taken to using it on both of my kids super scaly and dry skin – they both suffer from eczema and we have endless hassles trying to find products that do what they say they will (clear up eczema) and don’t sting them when I apply it. This oil has worked a treat after only a few applications and they both are lining up to have it applied at bedtime instead of crying, whining, screaming etc which is the usual cream application process! SO that is possibly the best review a product could have!! I’ll have to be taking out shares in mama mio soon considering how much of their Body Oil we will be going through now.

Mama Mio Omega Body Oil is sold via top spas and salons around the country at a recommended retail price of R425.00 for 150ml. For a stockist near you visit www.poisebrands.co.za
