Today I’m introducing you to a personal style blog that features fashion, decor and beauty. The blogger is Nastassja from Mrs Rogero. Read on to find out more about her and her blog….
What I know… There’s just one thing I know for sure – the love of Christ. As a Christian, I try to let that ground me and guide me in every aspect of my life. There’s nothing on earth like the love of the Father and I’m trying to love like He does.
What I love… I love God, I love people and I love life. My family mean the world to me, and I enjoy their company – I really like being around people. Of course I’m often intimidated by lots of unfamiliar faces, but I love getting to know people – I think that’s life’s treasure. More than anything else, I value people and appreciate connecting with others. My husband is my favourite person in the world and love him very much; he’s my best friend.
What I read… I try to read as much as I can, but these days I’ve taken the lazy route and read more magazines than I’d like to admit! It’s taking me forever to finish The Shack, but that’s a priority now. I hope to read one book each month – for the rest of my life! I’ve also read A Teacher Changed My Life recently, a book by our close friend Darren August – dedicated to the significant profession of teaching. It’s a great read because, although I’m not a teacher, it reminds me that I have a purpose and an influence, everyone does, and I’d like to use it to build and not to break. I read lots of style books, motivational stuff like Phil Cooke’s Jolt – it has inspired me to stop sitting on my dreams and go for it, and I’ve challenged myself to read the Bible more.
What I want… I always want new shoes, ha! Seriously, I have a lot of wants but a big want is health and joy for my family. I’m especially hopeful for my little two-year-old. I think of his future often and I want him to experience a full life. I want him to feel secure in a world that is so overpowering, find his place and be confident in his pursuit of purpose. I want him to be a world changer. I also really want to redo our bathrooms, haha!
What I wear… I wear all sorts of things. My personal style is chameleon-like, because I dress according to my mood and the image I want to project on a particular day. I’d like to think I wear a friendly face daily, but I know that I could smile more!
What I need… Need? Nothing, because I’m really blessed. I will say, though, I need to live debt free. I think everyone should aim for zero debt – banks shouldn’t control our money!
