It’s back to school for most of us this week – be it adult school (eg. work) or real school (eg. Grade 1). I figured a little bit of frivolous fashion fun would be just the ticket to lift sagging spirits and with awards season upon us what better way to do this than by listing my fashion faves at the Golden Globes 2013 which was held on the weekend in LA!
To start with I must admit that my fashion tastes are usually quite tame – I’m not on the “cutting edge” by any means and have no “eye on the trends” or anything. These are just my own personal favourites – sometimes for style, the colour or the accessorizing and sometimes just because I love the actress wearing the outfit!!
So here are the dresses that caught my eye….
Loved this colour on Jennifer Garner! Congrats to her hubby on his win!
Being heavily preggers on the red carpet must be VERY difficult – everyone else has been dieting for months before and is fitting into the size zero designer dresses which is why I think Kristen Bell deserves a special mention – this gown looks gorgeous and not “mumsy” at all!
I want Jessica Alba’s style – she always manages to look AH-mazing! Love this colour on her and her hair and make-up are simply WOW!
Can you actually beleive that Claire Danes had a baby only a month ago?? How she manages to look so slim is beyond me. She does look stunning though, congrats to her. Love this colour too!
Sofia Veraga is one of my favourite red carpet celebs because she is never afraid to flaunt her curves… and ALWAYS looks fantastic for it! Love her! Olivia Munn is fairly new to me but I do quite like this different looking dress – the colour and shimmer of the bodice is very pretty and at least she wore something unique and not ANOTHER NUDE DRESS like all the rest of them 😉
What do you think – do you have a fave?? Is she mentioned here? Maybe you spotted a look you liked on the TV – let me know. I’d love to check it out!
Nice choices Kathryn! I had one similar to you in Anne Hathaway – my fave 🙂
I like Jessica Alba’s. you can definitely what the “style trend” is this year… pity my body is SO not made for it though.
