What I… Melissa Louise

I stumbled across the very lovely Melissa Louise Lifestyle & Interiors blog recently and spent quite a while browsing it’s beautiful pages! This is one pretty place and after discovering the blogger behind the screen is a trained interior designer and works at Zana it all fell into place…. Melissa is one talented, creative lady!

Her blog is an inspiring space where she shares her favourites: interiors, cuisine, entertainment and lifestyle.

Her design style comprising mostly of simple, clean design pieces within a contemporary setting and she loves combining vintage, ethnic and contemporary items along with bold pattern and texture. Read on to find out more about Melissa or pop over and visit her blog… I really recommend setting aside some time for the latter!!

What I….

Know: hard work pays off! You can do anything you set your mind to & if you work hard enough you will achieve it.

Love: How far I have come! My personal journey through life has been full, full of love, laughter, tears, sorrow, successes and disappointments but through it all I am who I am today and I am proud.

Read: Blogs mostly, I am more of a picture person and don’t read much… Style by Emily Henderson is one of my fave blog reads, she is simply hilarious and I LURVE her content!

Want: Unlimited funds… to home the homeless, travel the world and to shop to my heart’s content!

Wear: too much monochrome and beige!

Need: A West Elm store in South Africa and wine.. Who doesn’t need wine?

Thanks so much for taking part Melissa. Loved sharing your beautiful blog with my readers!

Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
