Kathryn Rossiter

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!

  1. i’ve done steps 1 + 2.

yes please, i would love to have the massage…i’m the mom of two teenage children with a house currently overrun with builders, so you can imagine how stressed out i am.

  2. Wow what a treat! I would love the massage – new to working world and being glued to a computer doesn’t help much!

  3. Hi I am already a Becoming You fan & I have liked Gingerlily on Fb – I need a massage desperately! Just ran a rather hectic 16km race & my body is not thanking me! Never mind the normal stresses of everyday life 🙂 Ps. I can comment – maybe its the new computer!

  4. I ‘ve liked both….:)…I NEEED this because I’ve never had a massage before-shocking I know- and I’m a real stress ball. A massage would do so much for me!?

  5. I have liked both pages and will repost! I desperately need a massage because a) I will never be able to afford it on my stay-at-home-mom budget 🙁 and b) constant chiropractor visits, picking up a 15kg toddler and having one on the way does not equal a happy body! So this massage will do wonders for me! 🙂

  6. I have “liked” both. I would say I need this because I’m currently raising 2 babies under 1 year old without family in the country and living up 3 flights of stairs (no elevators). I’m the ideal client for any type of pampering 🙂

PS: Excited about giveaways coming to this site, especially to local places!

  7. I would love a massage – I have liked both pages!!! Didn’t know about Ginger Lily before you put this competition message out – will definitely have to check it out as love finding spas that are gems!

  8. Pages have been liked! An hour and 15 min of pure me time would be heaven!plus,I think I deserve it!

  9. I have liked Gingerlily Spa and am already a fan of Becoming you 🙂 would be wonderful to win a massage…hardly get some me being a mom! x

  10. Have already ‘liked’ you on fbk and have ‘liked’ gingerlily spa on fbk too. Would absolutely die for a massage! My back and neck is full of knots and tension, and each time I ask my lovely boyfriend for a massage, he always complains of carpal tunnel in his hands! So for his sake, and my knotted back – I really hope I win!

  11. just done step 1 and 2 – i am a mother of 3 boys under 8 yrs, i home school my oldest while looking after my youngest, i clean the house with no help and have not had a massage of any sort in 9 years. a massage would just make my day!

  12. Hi there! Have “Liked” both you and Gingerlily Spa on Facebook. Was very glad to stumble across your lovely little blog today. I work in advertising as a writer and would like to help spread the word about it on some of the bigger blogs. I would love a massage at Gingerlily because I’ve found that rest and relaxation help with writers’ block and do wonders to recharge those creative batteries when inspiration is running low. Good luck to all you lovely ladies. x

  13. Hi, I’ve just “LIKE” Becoming you and Gingerlily. I have also shared this post on my facebook. Here’s the reason why I should win this massage: absolutely fabulous retreat. I could do with a pamper to take away the week day blues. I have four kids whom I love to bits and I’m studying. I also try and find time to gym but never really get around to treat myself. I could really do with a little unwinding at that spectacular retreat!

  14. hi Ive just liked both pages! I would love a massage as i work hard with kids with special needs and need some me time just to relax and recharge!:)

  15. I haven’t been for a massage or any pampering for soooo long because I’ve dedicated my entire life to my magazine and blog, so it would be pretty amazing to have a treat 🙂

  16. Have entered and liked. Part-time working mom with 2 small kids – always desperate for some ‘me’ time!

  17. Have like both! Why do I need a massage?? I have 2 boys – one age 5 and one age 44 (also known as husband!) – and both keep me very busy!!

  18. I have liked both on Facebook 🙂 Also tweeted about it.
I just think a pamper day would really do the world of good.

  19. I have liked both pages!
I need a massage because I have “left the nest” recently to find work in the Mother City. I grew up in a small town and I am not used to the city vibe at all, but I’m loving it. I am interning at an ad agency at the moment and it is really stressful! On top of that I am a total worry-wort and have back problems and knots from stress. I am a young adult but feel like I’m 60! This would really be great as moving away has been difficult and I would love to just relax for that 1hr 15mins…

  20. Great competition Kathryn! Everyone needs massage 🙂 I value them immensely! And I’d love to see the Farrier Centre as it looks now – I last recall when it was Vanilla Canvas, and haven’t been back since! The name Gingerlily is gorgeous, and the ambience looks awesome too! If I get to go, I will blog about it too – plus I am always on the look out for a new utterly amazing massage experience! (I’d also recommend JoJo’s in Bergvliet – an incredible Indian Head Massage – ask for Alicia!)

  21. Hellloooooo! I have entered and ‘liked’ both pages. My two biggest luxuries & ‘me-time moments’ are long baths and massages. I am a dancer in a constant state of tension, who regularly has to visit Body Stress Release so I don’t end up with tension headaches. I’m often begging anyone and everyone for a massage, but it often doesn’t cut it. Spa massages are the way forward by often too expensive. I’m craving one like crazy, so I’ll be wishing upon this Heritage weekend star…

  22. For an additional lucky entry, I have tweeted: @ Lauren_Manuel “I don’t know about you, but I want to win a massage. Enter and Win with Gingerlily Spa and @Becomingyoublog click”

  23. Liked both and would LOVE to win a massage as finishing a masters dissertation = loads of tension and wedding looming = pampering in order. Its also up the road from me, so easy to access for more pampering 🙂

  24. ‘LIKED’ BOTH PAGES!! So happy to have discovered both your pages. Just got out of a hot oil bath to try relieve some pain in my body. With 2 toddlers, who are at home all day, my body has taken a beating. Dreaming of a massage … mmmmmm
