Mama Mio event

One of my favourite beauty discoveries of 2012 has been Mama Mio products. I had heard so much about them through magazines and blogs and was thrilled to be able to try out the Goodbye Stretchmarks cream earlier this year (pop over here to read my review). What a divine product!

I’m now a huge fan of this range of stunning products and really excited to try more of them out. The founders of Mama Mio are all women which is evident in the way that all the products are targeted at treating body issues we are most concerned about! They certainly have developed their line with moms in mind with products called “Shrink to Fit”, “Bootcamp for Tummies/ Boobs/ Butts”, “See-no-scar” and “Boob Tube”.

At the heart of Mama Mio’s business is one mission: to help women feel more confident in their skin. Mama Mio is anti-gravity, anti-aging, skin-elasticising, fat-busting, orange-peel-zapping, toning and tightening, high-performance skincare – using the very best quality of ingredients at very high dosages so you see and feel maximum benefits very quickly.

They are extremely proud of their products and question every single ingredient and benefit claim each product makes. They want their products to really work while maintaining their NO NASTIES policy. Every Mama Mio product is safe to use at any time from pregnancy stage to pensionable age. It is Paraben Free, Petrolatum Free, Sodium Laureth and Sodium Laurel Sulphate Free, Xenoestrogen and Phtalates Free, Colourant and Synthetic Fragrance Free.

On Wednesday morning I will be attending a Mama Mio event at Ellerman House in Bantry Bay where and I’m looking for one lovely lady to join me! Sian, one of the founders of Mama Mio will be in attendance and there will be yummy snacks to enjoy while listening to her share her insights as an award-winning entrepreneur, woman, mom and role model. There will also be a chance to gain more insight into the global beauty brand that is Mama Mio and the opportunity to feel, smell and try out the range as well as a goodie bag to take home containing a full size bottle of your favourite Mama Mio product!

If this sounds like the type of thing you can imagine yourself enjoying on Wednesday morning from 8:30 – 10:00 then give please leave a comment on this blog post telling me what has been your best beauty discovery of 2012!

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!

  1. My best find was infact a Mama Mio product. It’s the Omega Body Buff – neverbefore had my skin felt so alive and gorgeous after using a scrub. It’s so amazing, I use it on my face too once a week.

  3. I won a Mama Mio “Shrink To Fit” product earlier this year and loved it. Although it’s late, if you haven’t found someone to attend tomorrow, I’d love to.
