Making Memories with Cardies

Yesterday I watched a very moving video on YouTube which Cardies recently produced for Mother’s Day. In it they helped Annarie create the most amazing surprise for her mom – a wonderful way to celebrate her first Mother’s Day with her biological mother, Veronica.

Watch her special Cardies Moment here:

The video really got me welling up…. I thought of all those memories that the mom had missed and all those moments that the daughter had wished for her mom – for over 40 years! It was heart-breaking, but at the same time it was uplifting to think they have now finally found each other and can continue making new, positive memories.

Just imagine if my emotions were being thrown into a spin what it must have been like for the women involved! Whew! My own little daughter watched it with me and wanted to know why everyone (me included) was crying… I had to explain that tears can be for so many emotions – and a mix of them all at the same time too!

Cardies has long been a part of our lives – and they love being a part of our special moments and memories that we share with our loved ones. It is for this reason that they have created Cardies Moments – the perfect platform for people to create special moments and memories that they will cherish forever. Through the Cardies Facebook page fans are able to share their moments and ideas of what they would like to do to create a special Cardies Moment and how they think Cardies can help them make it happen!

If you have a special Cardies Moment that you would like to create why not pop over and “like” their page & then submit your entry, especially if you are looking to create a memorable wedding proposal – the next Cardies Moment which they are aiming to create!

Kathryn is a South African lifestyle blogger and mom of 2 who has been blogging daily for over 9 years! She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!

    1. Hi Dipenaar – thanks for your comment, blogging into the wee hours after a hectic day filled with my mom responsibilities means that these things do sometimes slip through the cracks. It’s not my intention to hide things from my blog readers, I’m just not perfect so some grace from my readers would be appreciated.
