Makeup Look: Pretty ‘n Peach by Cara Fay

Today’s post is by Beauty Babe, Cara…

I thought I would share a make up a simple make up look with all and a review on each product I used to create this look.

Maxfactor Miracle Match Foundation

Maxfactor is one of my most favourite pharmacy picks, everything I have ever tried of theirs has been a winner from their primer to their amazing baked blushers. I just knew I would love this foundation too. The only down side is we don’t get many shades here in South Africa I think about 4, the shade I have (natural 50) is a little too dark for me but because I love the actual foundation so much I make it work with extra concealer to lighten up by under eyes, nose and chin. One of the main reasons I like this foundation so much is the fact that it does not contain SPF, don’t get me wrong for day time I’m all about the SPF but oh for night and photographers, I am just not about that casper life! It is so hard to find non SPF foundations these days! The coverage is medium, dewy and can be built up.

Almay Age Essentials Concealer

This is one of my most favourite concealers, unlike other stick concealers it has a creamy consistency but still packs a punch with being high coverage. It works well on blemishes as well as under the eyes but it does need to be set as it can crease.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear xxx

My favourite part of this is how versatile it is you essentially get two blush shades (pink and browny) and two highlighters (white and gold) my only grip with this is that they’re all so close together that its difficult to get your brush into one little square although what I tend to do which gives me the look I have on my cheeks is swirl my brush in all 4 shades and then use my finger in one of the highlighter shades on my cheek bones. The packaging is just so cute, it has a huge mirror and a little brush at the back.

Essence Lashes to Impress in 02

I bet you couldn’t even tell that I was wearing lashes could you? That is what I really enjoy about these essence individual lashes they tend to give a very natural look as they aren’t too long but give a full look. I’m probably on my 3rd box of these – they’re my go to and I am in no way an eyelash fundi but find them simple to use, the glue dries clear and they stay in place plus they’re so affordable!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what is on my face and reading my thoughts on these products. Have you tried any of these
