The wonderful thing about blogging is that it introduces you to a whole new world of potential friends that may never have otherwise crossed your path in normal everyday life… and that’s amazing! I love meeting new people and will often be the first one to say “hi” to someone at an event…. and it’s always worked in my favour (well, maybe not at the fashion events!) I’ve yet to encounter someone who didn’t say “Hi” in return and appreciate someone to talk to!
This is exactly how I met Lisa from One Modern Mom. I recognised her face from social media and then bumped into her at an industry event… Since then I’ve been an avid follower of her blog and she’s doing amazing things for such a newbie on the scene, plus she has the most incredible photos on her site – it definitely helps that she is a model! Just gorgeous!

As a parent, always stick to what you believe in. You know your child better than anybody else. I often find that when I sway from my beliefs, the result isn’t good.
My family will always be at the top of my list. They drive me crazy sometimes, but they are always there to reciprocate the love. I also love the seaside, being at the beach, or just being close enough to hear the waves crashing. My best adventures and memories have always happened here.
I am currently reading an incredible book – The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell – but I like to read anything that inspires me, challenges me or pushes me in a positive direction. I do also love a good novel. I always say that if I were rich, I would purchase books by the illustration on the cover – just for fun.
I am craving travel. As a child, I grew up with the opportunity and privilege to travel a lot. I would love to travel with my little family, giving my three and a half year old son the chance to experience what I did growing up. I also truly believe that travel is the best form of education – as they learn about different cultures and ways of life. I can’t wait for our chance.
I am quite a casual gal, jeans and a tee with a pair of sneakers are my staple, but I love dressing up and changing my ‘identity’ on set when I shoot. In Winter I love big slouchy knitted jerseys! I really dislike being uncomfortable, so whatever leaves me feeling comfy will end up in my wardrobe.
God. There are days as a mom, and as a woman where I just know I couldn’t have got through the day without having Him to help me make important decisions. Days where I honestly didn’t think that I could parent or have patience. Being able to simply say a prayer asking for strength and direction – it honestly saves me.
Thanks Lisa for taking part in my What I… Blogger Interview series! If you write a blog and would like to feature in this series be sure to drop me an email!
