Another Wednesday, another What I… blogger interview! This time we’re getting to know Lisa from Lipstick Lifestyle – and as the name might suggest she is a beauty blogger primarily but also touches on fashion too.

What I ….
Know
I know in this life you can’t just sit back and wait for things to happen, you’ve got to go out there and make it happen yourself. I know that hard times are there for a reason, and that most learning experiences don’t feel like you’re learning at all. Most importantly I know that the key to confidence lies in the perfect shade of red lipstick and a really good hair day.
Love
The three P’s – pizza, puppies and Paris. I love summer and the beach and sun kissed skin, eating ice cream next to the ocean and wearing rose tinted sunglasses. I love cupcakes and bubble baths and a good cup of tea and I particularly love having these three things all at the same time.
Read
I always try to read a book before I watch the movie and the last time I did this was for Divergent, so I’m currently reading the sequel Insurgent. For work purposes I usually go through magazines or newspapers just to get a general idea of what’s happening in the media and who’s writing about what. I love reading beauty pages, product reviews, and all the gossip in the latest Grazia.
Want
To finish my degree and find a job which feels more like fun and less like work. I want to travel a bit more and possibly work overseas, and I secretly want to learn French so I can have a real conversation with my boyfriends mum.
Wear
During the week I keep it very simple, ankle boots, tights, blazer jacket and a top knot and I’m ready to go! On weekends I let my hair down (literally) and would describe my style as more fun and girly.
Need
I need a holiday! I arrived back in Cape Town from 4 weeks of being in cold cold Switzerland just a few days after New Year’s Eve and started work immediately. This year I’ve been working and studying and haven’t had a break since sometime last year, so I’ll definitely say I need a holiday – and while we’re on the subject, I also need weekends to be an extra day longer.

Why no male bloggers?
Jaxxybug – I’m definite open to featuring male bloggers and have had a few in the past but I don’t always know who to approach – suggestions are always welcome 😉
Great interview
