Fragrance File: Lacoste Pour Femme Légère

I vividly recall the intense need I had for a bottle of Lacoste perfume back when I was in my early 20’s.

It must have been something to do with the marketing at the time but I totally remember falling in love with the idea of owning a bottle… and it was one of the very first perfumes I bought for myself, in Duty Free on my way to live in the UK.

Lacoste have recently relaunched their iconic scent in a new modern version of the original…

Lacoste Pour Femme Légère

The scent

Lacoste Pour Femme Légère radiates bright citric notes with sparkling florals that round off with an intimate velvet signature.

The original scent is refreshed with citruses of bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin. The pure heart develops with jasmine petals, white heliotrope and hibiscus, while the base remains faithful to the original with an accord of cedar from the Himalayas, vetiver, sandalwood and musk.

The bottle

Graceful and slender, the gently curved glass bottle Lacoste Pour Femme Légère features the original feminine design and sinuous lines and embodies the woman it is created for. A statement in sophistication, the luminescent flacon is frosted in pearl-white glass to emphasize the modern flair of the Eau Fraiche character.

Who wears Lacoste Pour Femme Légère?

Inspired by a timelessly elegant woman, this fragrance champions sophisticated style worn with an unconventional attitude…. typically French from a quintessentially French brand!

The attitude of the contemporary LACOSTE woman is one of confidence, elegance, enthusiasm and joy for life and this fragrance will appeal to those who possess a timeless sense of style

I love this scent’s crisp citrus notes that evoke a light, fresh feeling of a perfect summer’s day… this is for those with a playful hint of daring…

She writes about travel, health, beauty, fashion, decor and family... but not food (unless it's food she's eaten made by someone else) as she is a hopeless cook. She only wakes up early for 2 things... a red-eye flight to somewhere exotic and early morning game drives. She has just finished an extensive home renovation and would prefer to never see another box again. She's never met a chocolate or glass of bubbles that she didn't like!
