A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the launch party of the sparkling new space that is the home of design fundi’s Kirsten Goss and Missibaba. What an treat! This lovely shop located at the top of Bree Street (229 to be exact) is just the place to pop in to when looking for a pretty new accessory for someone special (yourself included!)
I am a huge fan of Kirsten Goss’s range of jewellery and can’t help but be tempted by all the pretty things…. The pendant collection is a veritable “scratch patch for adults”! I just had to add a new pendant to my collection to go on my “lifesaver” necklace. I have a family wedding next weekend so that was a great excuse! There are some amazing contemporary designs too – the Anarchy range is really edgy and simply stunning. Love. I also have my eye on a pair of silver “Daphne” earrings to complement my necklace but that will have to wait for another special occasion!
On the evening of the launch the shop was full of like-minded fans so I popped back a few days later to snap some pics and show you the design dream that is this collaboration! This was the first time I was able to get up close to all the beautiful leather bags and other goodies by Missibaba and the originality of the pieces are amazing.
