Kids Book Buzz: Spring Season Reviews

I don’t know about you, but our house is full of book worms and avid book readers. We love books and they provide our children with the perfect end of the day ‘wind down’ routine, the chance to develop their imaginations, the opportunity to grow their sense and understanding of the world and of course the inspiration to many, many games and ideas!

Kids Book Buzz is a new seasonal kids books review series that aims to showcase some of our best finds. It may include good old favourites but will certainly also showcase some of the latest books hot off the press.

We love the leading questions that help parental interaction and the large lift the flap pieces are perfect for little hands to enjoy. These books are suitable to read to younger babies and will provide much delight to toddlers too as they become more familiar with the text and can begin to answer the questions that are posed.

This book comes packed with fun facts and interactive turn and learn and fold out pieces. Our preschooler could not get enough of this delightful book. The center has a large fold out skeleton and this proved an excellent talking piece about our bodies and how we care for them! Filled with facts and fun illustrations this book gently introduces the basics of caring for one’s bodies to kids in an easy to understand format which allows children to dip into this book over and over always coming away with a new discovery.

Angry Owl Finds a Hobby
